MSDA Meeting 25 Jan 2009
The January meeting of the Maryland Sporting Dog Association will be held at Native Shore Hunting Preserve on Sunday, January 25, 2009 beginning at 10:30 am.
The day will include a bird planting demonstration or a short e-collar talk at 11:00 am, lunch at noon during which the meeting will be held, and for those who so desire, an afternoon shoot has been arranged. Lunch will be $7.50 per person. Anyone who has not tried Mrs. Leaverton’s home cooking has missed a real treat. For the afternoon shoot we will divide into groups of four, which shall be composed entirely of either pointing breeds or spaniels. The cost will be $90.00 per person and will include forty quail or 24 chucker or 16 pheasant per group and lunch. You of course are invited to bring your own well mannered and experienced dog. Please understand that in each group of four there will be three others who have also paid to hunt, so if your dog is not steady please do not bring her or him into the field. Space is limited for both lunch and the hunt, so please contact Dean Snyder at 443-255-6470 or dean@egyptfarms. com immediately to make your reservation or if you have any questions.
